Embracing Change: Batista Consulting’s Evolution to "Transformation by Design"

Batista Consulting Services, LLC (BCS) in 2020 and rebranded as Transformation by Design (TBD) in 2024. This change reflects not just a new name but a visible alignment to our deep commitment to continuing to guide leaders, teams, and organizations through intentional and purposeful transformations.


The decision to embrace "Transformation by Design" as our new name is rooted in our unwavering belief in the power of deliberate, strategic change. In an era marked by uncertainty, constant change, and the urgent need for adaptation, our Inclusive Leadership by Design Blueprint© is at the very core of transformation and becomes a beacon— a guide for navigating the complexities of today's cultural, political, economic, and social challenges and to ensure your readiness for whatever the future holds.


Inspired Transformation

During the Covid-19 pandemic, I was working out of a small office from a small sun porch in my parents’ home in South Florida. To take advantage of the natural sunlight, I set my desk against a window facing the garden. To my delight almost every afternoon, I was visited by Monarch butterflies. This is where the concept of transformation by design was born. 


The Monarch butterfly, with its awe-inspiring metamorphosis, has long been a symbol of transformation. Its journey from caterpillar to butterfly mirrors the profound changes we seek to instill within organizations. From the beginning, I adopted the beautiful and majestic Monarch butterfly as a symbol of transformation and for the developing vision and purpose of our shared work.


For example, our Inclusive Leadership by Design Blueprint© is akin to the Monarch's flight—graceful, purposeful, and inclusive. It guides leaders through the intricacies of fostering inclusive cultures, just as the Monarch navigates the air currents on its migration. Originally born out of my leadership experience in higher education, our Blueprint has also successfully helped to transform  organizations in healthcare, non-profit, and corporate sectors, showcasing adaptability, effectiveness, and demonstrating success across industries.


Like the Monarch, known for its incredible migratory feats, successful organizations must embody adaptability and resilience. Our approach, like the Monarch's flight, signifies an ability to navigate change with grace and purpose. In a world marked by continual change, we recognize the urgency of supporting leaders and organizations navigating uncertainty, preparing leaders, teams, and organizations for the unknown.
